Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Welcome to GLAMR

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the GLAMR website and services. By using GLAMR, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. GLAMR is operated by Glamr at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, England, and runs as a marketplace that connects clients with beauty, wellness, tattoo and piercing studios and professionals; we are not the provider of the services booked through the platform.

Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Keep your login details secure and not share them.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.

Bookings

When you make a booking through GLAMR, you are entering into an agreement with the business or professional, not with GLAMR. We provide the technology to arrange the appointment. Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are handled according to the individual studio's policy, which must be shown clearly on their profile.

Where a business has enabled manual approval, a booking request is not confirmed until the business accepts it. Any payment taken will be handled in line with the booking status and the business's chosen deposit settings.

Payments

GLAMR uses Stripe to process payments securely. When you pay, your card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms as well as ours. Businesses may set a deposit percentage or require full payment at the time of booking. All fees, deposits, and cancellation rules are set by the business and displayed before you confirm.

GLAMR charges a small booking fee per confirmed transaction, shown to you before you pay. Business subscriptions are billed per team member seat, in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Our refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Business subscriptions bought online normally carry a 14-day cancellation right; by starting your subscription immediately you agree that we begin the service straight away, and if you then cancel within 14 days we may charge for the part of the service already provided.

Refunds for treatments and deposits are handled by the business you booked with under the cancellation policy shown on their profile. If a business fails to provide the service, contact them first; we will help where we reasonably can.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies we use are described in our Cookie Policy. Businesses using GLAMR to manage client data are responsible for complying with UK data protection law in their own use of that data.

Business accounts

Studios and professionals can create a business profile on GLAMR. By publishing a profile, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful information about your business, services, and pricing.
  • Keep your calendar and availability accurate.
  • Honour bookings you accept, or promptly cancel and notify clients.
  • Not use the platform to advertise illegal, misleading, or harmful services.

Profiles may remain in preview mode until the business subscribes to a live plan. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Disputes and chargebacks

Customer card payments are processed through GLAMR's payment account and the appointment deposit is passed on to the business. If a customer disputes a payment with their bank (a chargeback), the disputed amount and the payment processor's dispute fee are debited from GLAMR first. In that case the business agrees that GLAMR may:

  • Reverse or withhold the deposit transfer for the disputed booking from the business's connected payment account.
  • Deduct the payment processor's dispute fee (currently £15 per dispute) from the business's balance or future payouts.
  • Share the booking record — including the customer's checkout details and terms acceptance — with the payment processor and the customer's bank as evidence.

Businesses must cooperate with GLAMR in responding to disputes, including providing evidence of the appointment within the processor's deadline. If a dispute is won, the reversed deposit is returned to the business and the dispute fee is refunded where the processor refunds it to GLAMR.

Reviews and content

Users may post reviews, photos, and other content. You retain ownership of what you post, but you grant GLAMR a licence to display it on the platform. You must not post content that is abusive, false, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. We may remove content that violates these rules.

Prohibited use

You may not use GLAMR to:

  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against anyone.
  • Interfere with the platform's security or technical operations.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Engage in fraud, spam, or other illegal activities.

Limitation of liability

GLAMR provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services booked through the platform, nor for the actions of users or businesses. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid to use GLAMR in the 12 months before the incident, or £100, whichever is lower.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we need to protect the platform or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Some obligations (such as liability limits and payment obligations) survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of GLAMR after changes means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
